With a music and public speaking career spanning over 25 years, 8 countries and 3 continents, James Reed is the ultimate DJ/MC professional, bringing an unparalleled wealth of skill, knowledge and experience to enhance your wedding celebration!
At the astounding age of 14, James started his DJ career in 1996, spinning records and CDs at neighborhood discos and youth festivals.
James bravely made the switch to full-time DJing at the age of 20 after graduating top of the class from Sydney's esteemed United DJs Mixing School and seamlessly assumed the roles of both DJ and MC at weddings just one year later.
Over the next two decades, James's commitment to perfection as a DJ and MC produced a number of outstanding accomplishments, such as:
Entertaining a crowd of 5000 at the Big Thing Youth Festival (2002)
Spending 5.5 years honing his MC skills by performing professionally as a stage actor across Australia, New Zealand, South-East Asia, and the United States (2006-2011)
Attaining an Advanced Diploma in Sound Engineering (2012)
Founding a successful music studio business, through which James is known worldwide as a specialist in editing and mixing music soundtracks for professional dancers (2013-present)
Mixing the soundtrack for the world-class Ekka Fireworks Extravaganza at the Royal Queensland Show, enthralling 40,000 attendees over 6 days (2017)
Headlining as DJ for the prestigious World Polo Championships in Sydney (2017)
Before moving to Western Australia in 2022, James' popularity as a DJ/MC in NSW increased to the point that he was performing up to five weddings a week. This is a level of demand that very few DJs ever achieve!
